In the Beginning

Before Pastor Bob Roberts Jr. started Northwood Church, he was on staff at a megachurch. Over time, he became disillusioned after seeing immorality, greed, laziness, and insincerity. Pastor Bob found himself asking, “Is this what we’re living for?”

With a mindset to build something pure, real, and biblical, Bob felt a call to start Northwood Church. But he didn’t get it all right, So he started training church planters. Bob knew what he initially did wrong. Now, He wants to pass on his hard-earned knowledge and wisdom to new church planters, giving them something that he didn’t have.

And, now, GlocalNet has grown to a family of churches across the U.S., spreading the word of God far and wide. We humbly remember that the story of our beginnings isn’t the “Bob” story; it’s much bigger than that. It’s the Jesus story, and we just happen to be a part of it.

KDSC: THE GLOCALNET DNA

What if the Church Were The Missionary?

Every believer should own the Great Commission, not just the religious professional or vocational minister. Through the Kingdom DNA of KDSC (Kingdom, Disciple, Society, Church), we encourage everyone to use their job and talents to mobilize the word of God into the public square.

.

Kingdom: The Foundation

Instead of focusing on being the biggest church in the area, church the area.

.

Disciple: The Unit

The lowest common denominator of how we spread the bold love of Jesus to the ends of the earth.

.

Society: The Grid

It’s not just about Christians showing up to do something FOR people, but it’s about Christians showing up to do something WITH people.

.

Church: The Body of Christ

What does it mean for a church to move from a Sunday event to being on-call 24/7 for God?

A Collaborative Community

Center for Public Faith

The Center for Public Faith serves as a collective where GlocalNet, Glocal Ventures, Multi-Faith Neighbors Network, and the Institute for Global Engagement converge to create a unique collaborative. These organizations working together creates a dynamic cycle of influence, where each organization's strengths amplify the others.

This eco-system allows us to merge everyday people of faith, religious leaders, intellectuals and government officials in a truly transformative way. Our collaborative model is not just about working together—it's about creating an unparalleled collaboration that helps to shape a better world.
