One of our pillars at GlocalNet is mobilizing our churches to engage society and create flourishing communities! A way that we do that is by connecting with people of other faiths, and living out our faith in the public square, with them. We often say that we need to stop doing evangelism to people, and start doing it with and through others. I want to invite you to an exciting opportunity where we will live this commitment out.
In March, at Northwood Church, we are going to host the Global Faith Forum, together with the Multi-Faith Neighbors Network. This event is an unprecedented national gathering of faith leaders to encourage one another, learn from one another and be challenged to walk together for the good of our communities. The event will begin on Sunday night, October 10th, with the first-ever national gathering of evangelicals and Muslims. It will continue on Monday as we learn and train to do multi-faith engagement in our communities.
Featuring speakers like Christine Caine, Shaykh Hamza Yusuf, Ambassador Sam Brownback, Nobel Peace Prize winner David Beasley, and others, it’s going to be a powerful time. There is no cost at all to attend the event, but registration is required and limited.
Registration Required – FREE.
